Our Sea Moss is harvested fresh from the Caribbean Sea by local divers in the tropical island of Jamaica.

What are the minerals found in sea moss?

Sea Moss contains 92 minerals that is necessary for optimal functioning in the human body such as: zinc, iodine, iron, calcium, potassium, B-complex vitamins, sodium, sulfur, silicon. It is also a good source of dietary fiber, vitamin K, and copper. A very good source of riboflavin, folate, magnesium, phosphorus, manganese, protein, beta-carotene, pectin, taurine (an amino acid usually lacking in vegan or vegetarian diets) and vitamin c- all essential nutrients that promote healthy body functions.

How often should you take sea moss?

The recommended quantity and dosage of sea moss is about 1 to 2 tablespoons.

Can children have sea moss?

It is safe for children 5 years old and older to consume sea moss in lower quantities than the typical adult. Children younger than 5 years old, please consult with a physician.

What is the shelf life of sea moss gel?

Sea Moss gel will last up for 28 days as long as it is stored in the refrigerator and remain covered in the container received in. If left unopened, it can last up to 3 months in the freezer.

What if the jar arrives and gel is melted?

Although, the package will contain cooling material, it is possible that the gel may arrive in liquid form after its travel. Place the jar in the refrigerator for a few hours and let it chill.
